Our veterinarians share the responsibility of providing after hours care for their patients. When you call our emergency phone number you will speak with a veterinarian who can direct you with your pet’s emergency. There are times when the veterinarian is unable to take an emergency call right away due to helping other patients and you will be asked to leave a voicemail. Do not hang up and continue calling, this may block the phone line for others. Please leave a message with your name and a brief description of your pet’s emergency, and the best contact number. Your call will be returned as quickly as possible.

The primary goal of the Emergency Service is to rapidly assess patients to determine the severity of a problem and initiate appropriate stabilization, treatment and diagnostic testing. Once the veterinarian has evaluated your pet he/she will discuss treatment options with you. This treatment plan may allow your pet to return home, remain in the hospital for medical care, or depending on the severity of your pet’s injury or illness may require your pet to be transported to a 24/hour emergency hospital for intensive care.

The cost of emergency care will vary based on the type of emergency and medical care needed. The first step is to evaluate your pet and establish a treatment plan. The initial emergency and veterinary assessment will be $130-$180. Once the veterinarian has evaluated your pet he/she will discuss the treatment plan and cost with you.

We understand that emergencies are not planned and are generally not in the budget. We proudly offer payment plans through Care Credit and can assist you through the application process or you may apply online at www.carecredit.com
